The recipe is very simple, so it is easy to prepare for any occasion. Beautiful and very tasty. You can decorate it with the fruit of your choice, so the recipe can be customized to your liking.
Ingredients:
- 1 package of strudel dough
- 0.5 l Hulala cream
- 0.25 dkg mascarpone
- 5 dkg butter
- 5 dkg powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon currant syrup
Directions:
Use a small cake cutter and make little circles from the dough. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Spread melted butter on the little circles (they are already in the baking sheet) then sprinkle powdered sugar on them Let the circles caramelize for 3 minutes ONLY (the base is now done) You need 3 circles for one cake…
Mix the cream until it’s hard (with a mixer) and then add the mascarpone … mix it for another 2 minutes …. and then add a tbsp of currant syrup! (the syrup can be of some other kind as well) when you are done put the cream into a frosting bag and start layering the circles. You can decorate the top with any fruit (I chose currants because my cream is made of it as well) It is very simple so beginners can try it too. (wait about 2 hours before serving them so the dough has time to soften a bit)
