Fruity yogurt cake, forget the oven, this will be the family favorite, so creamy and delightful!

Occasionally we crave something delicious, but we don’t want to bake or we want a cool and creamy dessert. The fruity yogurt cake is easy to make, so if you want something simple, you can surprise the family.

On a hot summer day, it’s a real winner! Oranges and tangerines make this cake really refreshing, but it can also be made with other fruits.

Ingredients:

  • 250 g of ladyfingers
  • 10 g of gelatin
  • 170 g of sugar
  • 150 g of sour cream
  • 300 g of natural yogurt
  • 300 ml of whipped cream
  • 1 pack of vanilla sugar
  • 3 – 4 tangerines
  • 2 oranges

Directions:

Peel the oranges and cut them into thin slices. Put foil into a cake pan with removable bottom and then add orange slices to the bottom and the sides. It will look great, when the cake is finished.

Place a layer of ladyfingers on the orange slices. Beat the whipped cream, mix with sugar, vanilla, yogurt and sour cream. Dissolve the gelatin in a little water and add it as well. Peel the tangerine, cut it into dice and stir it in the mixture. Put half of the cream into the cake pan and then add another layer of ladyfingers.

Spread the remaining cream and cover it with the remaining orange slices. Place the cake in the fridge for at least 3 hours, but it is not a problem if you leave it there for the whole night so the cake freezes nicely. Place a plate on the pan and turn the cake upside, clip off the pan and remove the foil. Now you can start slicing the cake.
